Bad Banana

This ad appeared in a trade magazine for convenience-store owners, promoting Chiquita’s new freshness technology that kept bananas looking good a week longer than a typical banana. A simple, visceral image and a negative headline was all it took to get the message across. 

Grohe Faucet

When you think of German engineering, you normally think of luxury sports cars. But how about a top-of-the-line faucet? A simple ad showing the grace and performance of a better fixture.

New Castle Shelf Talker

Most states don't allow retailers/brewers to offer discounts and bundled offers on beer. But you CAN offer savings on the item that's being bundled. The challenge here? How to make a tie-in with Gruyére cheese and the distinct taste of New Castle Brown Ale.

Hops & Chops

Heineken brands wanted to jump into the foodie market by using their beer as ingredients. I developed the program "Hops & Chops" to address that. This was the introductory piece to a series of monthly "cooking with beer: recipes that ran in stores nationwide. 

Tom's of Maine Trade Show Booth

The maker of all-natural toothpaste and personal care items wanted a new booth design/theme for their trade shows that would highlight sustainability and their Maine background. I created this "Welcome to Maine" booth that was constructed with 100% recyclable/reclaimed pieces, right down to the lobster buoys.
