Autumn McAlpin grew up in Memphis, TN with seven siblings, a guitar-shaped swimming pool, and a pet pig named Hamlet. She left home the day after high school graduation armed with plenty of material. Now a resident of southern California, she writes full-time about the quirks and conundrums of fun, funny, and dysfunctional families, an area in which she specializes.
